Creative Vistas, Inc. Awarded Contract to Install X-Ray Inspection Systems for Canadian Government Ministry

WHITBY, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Creative Vistas, Inc., (OTCBB:CVAS - News), a leading provider of advanced video security and surveillance products as well as broadband-related services, today reported that it has been awarded a contract to install X-ray inspection systems for Ontario's Ministry of Attorney General.

The contract calls for CVAS's AC Technical Systems division to supply and integrate X-ray technology for two courthouse locations, where the systems will be used to inspect contents of bags, containers and other items entering the courthouses. Because of security concerns, certain details of these projects, including the timetable and the contract amount are not being made public at this time.

The dual technology X-ray inspection system enables operators to simultaneously detect both organic and non-organic materials. It does this by combining two commercially proven technologies in one unit, giving operators large amounts of information about the contents being inspected. The technologies provide high resolution colour images of organic, metallic and mixed materials, each color-coded for easy identification. At the same time, the system detects other items that may have been missed due to clutter.
