Creative Vistas Launches New Version of Integrated Intelligent Video Management System for the Surveillance Market

WHITBY, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Creative Vistas, Inc., (OTCBB:CVAS - News), a leading provider of advanced video security and surveillance products as well as broadband-related services, today announced that its subsidiary Iview Digital Video Solutions Inc. (Iview DVSI) has launched a new version of its Intelligent Video Management System (I-VMS) that integrates the functionality of its Iview-360 camera and Iview 360- DVR.

The latest version of I-VMS is meant to promote the Company's Iview product line on a single GUI (graphical user interface) platform.

I-VMS is a network-based intelligent digital video management system that is able to intelligently manage large numbers of cameras from various locations and has been developed by Iview DVSI specifically for the surveillance sector

The new version of I-VMS is able to manage the functionality of the Iview 360 panoramic camera and the Iview 360-dVR on an integrated GUI platform. The I-VMS GUI is now able to control (pan-tilt-zoom) and play back video from the Iview-360dVR, thus eliminating the need for extra industry-specific key pads, joysticks, and keyboards. It is also seamless for the end user and promotes ease of use by providing one platform for three different products. I-VMS is currently used by Canadian government ministries, BMW, and other commercial surveillance customers.

Iview-360's performance is equivalent to that of multiple EPTZ (Electronic Pan Tilt Zoom) cameras; thus it can replace a large number of conventional cameras and significantly reduce equipment and installation costs. Iview-360 uses proprietary embedded intelligent video processing technology which enables the product to work without a PC.

Iview DVSI product line also includes the compact Digital Video Recorder, Iview 360-dVR, that allows the user to record, search, and playback a 360-degree view of an area captured by the Iview-360 panoramic camera. Users can retroactively pan tilt and zoom in digitally on any particular region within the recorded coverage.
