Creative Vistas, Inc. To Launch ''DependableHome'' - Networked Surveillance Package to be Offered to More than One Million Customer Contacts

WHITBY, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Creative Vistas, Inc., (OTCBB:CVAS - News), a leading provider of advanced video security and surveillance products as well as broadband-related services, today announced that it will be launching DependableHome - a network-based package of surveillance products and related devices and services being made available to more than one million customer contacts in Ontario, Canada.

DependableHome is a registered branded offering of CVAS' Cancable subsidiary, which provides field support, broadband installation, networking, outsourced sales and other services to cable companies. The DependableHome product offering will include the installation and servicing of surveillance systems and other related devices, enabling opportunities for subscription-based recurring revenues

Cancable's deployment services currently provide over 450,000 customer home visits on behalf of Rogers and Cogeco. Cancable also provides its technical phone and sales support services to over 700,000 customer calls on behalf of the two cable companies. The initial launch of DependableHome is to be targeted at these 1,150,000-plus targeted house visits and calls.

Dependable Home is a significant strategic initiative of CVAS and its group of companies. It has been developed over the past twelve months as a foundation to build a branded networked surveillance offering to the consumer market place. An addition of an executive hire at a Vice President level is expected to be announced in the second quarter. The first phase of the program leveraging existing and new surveillance products and services, targeted at the above mentioned market, is expected to be launched in the fourth quarter of this year.
